What a great feeling of peace after a morning spring rain to go down to the basement to find it dry!! In the spring we always had water coming in after the snow would thaw. What a great relief it is to be able to go away for the day, even though it's raining and not have to worry about a flooded basement. Best of all, it made a believer out of my husband, and now our grandchildren can play down there.

Our basement was a complete disaster area. Every time it rained, or we had a snow melt, water would find a way into out sandstone walled basement. We had to put everything up on bricks. Nothing could sit on the floor without some kind of water damage. We couldn't use out basement for much of anything. We considered on having our foundation dug out, and drains put in, but then thought about the mess and expense. We then called "Waterproofing Specialties, Inc." they came, gave us an estimate, and did the job. Very professional, no mess, and they were done in less than two days. We now have a very dry basement, in which we can actually use. I'm still amazed every time I walk down our basement stairs. I can't believe we waited so long to have this done. I recommend this to anyone who has trouble with a wet, or damp basement.

My basement had water all around the sides and wide area near my washer and dryer. Since I had Waterproofing Specialties install their system – the basement is dry. I also had the walls covered with white vinyl sheeting. What a difference! I’m sure happy I had this work done. I spend more time in the basement now. (moved my sewing machine down there.)

A dry basement has been great. We didn’t have a lot of water, but just enough to be a hindrance. We couldn’t put anything on the floor – we always had to have it setting on something. NO More!! We don’t have a wet-spot in our basement and I’m even starting to paint down there.
